How can I find a specific database or journal?

Answer

Databases

To find a specific database, go to the A-Z Databases list. The databases are listed alphabetically or you can browse by subject.

Journals, Magazines, & Periodicals

To find specific journals, magazines, and periodicals:

  1. Start on the library homepage
  2. Click on Journal Index (the full-text finder tool)
  3. It will ask you to log in with your Sullivan username and password
  4. Search for the journal title in the search bar
  5. On the results page, each journal title will list what dates are available and what database the journal is available through.

Example: Newsweek (U.S. Ed.) is available through several databases, but only one gives you access to current issues (present).
